Here's what we tell families about screen time.
We know families are cautious about handing a tablet to a child..and honestly, we are too. The app store is full of passive videos and noisy games that ask little of a child and give even less back. Kip Kip was designed to be different. It is built on the same principles we use in therapy: follow the child's lead, invite interaction, and experience language naturally. Every tap is a conversation, every scene is a chance to describe, question, and discover.
FOR FAMILIES
Not all screen time is created equal.
We want to help families spot the difference. A healthy app for young children is open-ended, not scripted. It responds to the child, not the other way around. And it leaves room for a caregiver to join in - because the best screen time still has a grown-up nearby.
